Director’s Statement

This film is a love letter to my passion for horror and the absurd, brought to life on glorious 16 mm during my time at London Film School. I’ve always been drawn to the unsettling blend of fear and surrealism, where reality blurs and the bizarre takes over. With this short, I aimed to explore that space—where the familiar turns uncanny, and the absurd becomes terrifying. It also marks my first collaboration with the incredibly talented composer Guillermo Pita, a partnership that has since flourished in my later works.
