DIRECTOR

PRODUCER

VICTOR

Victor was born and raised in Bruges, Belgium. He started making short films and travel videos from a young age when he received a camcorder as a present from his grandfather. In 2017, Victor founded ‘Movix’, a video production company with a focus on providing commercials and marketing services to a wide range of clients, such as ‘EY’, ‘Etixx Sports’, ‘Ghent University’ etc.

In 2020 he made the move from commercial to narrative filmmaking by actually moving from Belgium to London. He produced multiple short films, including ‘Saving Art’,  which was selected in Oscar, BAFTA and BIFA qualifying festivals Palm Springs and Slamdance Film Festival. Victor also directed a few short films and music videos, before returning back to Belgium to direct ‘The Bull’, an absurdist short drama shot in the Flemish countryside. Victor was very fortunate in the casting of his film as he was able to work with hugely talented actors, Maaike Cafmeyer, Wim Willaert and Sam Louwyck.

Victor is currently active in the United Kingdom and Belgium after founding Picloc Productions. He is currently dividing his time between directing, producing and assistant directing with the help of a healthy coffee addiction.
